Custmer hit my dryers
Got a problem. A customer hit my my top dryer in the automatic with the top of their van and they want me to reimburse them.
Does anyone have experience with this situation? They damaged my equipment and i would think i would be entitled to having their insurance cover my equipment not the other way around.
Any advice ? Thanks

And do you have a sign or barrier so people can tell if they will clear the top ???? If you do, its their fault, if you dont its not so fun.
We have a measuring pole, which is a dangling PVC pipe, on our driveway before entering into the wash lanes. We posted a sign that says "Measure vehicles here". If the vehicle is too tall, it taps the PVC pipe. We also have the measurement PVC pipes before entering the bays, however it is usually too late at that time because the customer has already paid and entered the wash. The measurement pole has worked out great. It places the blame on the customer if they avoid the sign, and has saved us a lot of money on repairs!
