Reject w/ Chemicals

I heard different operators using RO spot free water to mix with chemcials an others using RO Reject to mix with chemicals. I was told that spot free water is leaner or less minerals etc. so you can use less chemicals with leaner water.. Do you guys agree or disagree??? I'm curious as to water you experiences are showing.

Rinse with the reject water, apply chemicals with RO water. You could probably run your chemicals 10-15% leaner.

and LOL small world. I dated a girl that now lives in Fort O.

Yes...Prep and rinse with reject water...just not final rinse! :)

The reject from an RO system is still soft water. I wouldn't use it with chemicals, but if you can rinse with reclaim you can certainly rinse with water with an elevated TDS.
