How's business in this economy?

How is everyone finding business? Has the economy had a big effect? My business is in the tank. I imagine that if people cut back from once a week to once every other week then it cuts your numbers in half. That seems to be where it is at, and hopefully this won't last forever.

Your profile reads technician. What type of car wash business do you have?

Definitely an environment that is more challenging than in past years. Customers seem more value oriented.

Where are you located, the drought here is really costing us. No rain no get cars dirty no mud no salt YET cannt wait for salt on the roads :)
We are having a terrible September. Before that we where same a s last 3 years------desperate :)

Slightly less volume this year versus last year. But, revenue-wise we're a bit better due to price increase. Yeah, I know, we were crazy to raise price in this economy but we rolled with it. I'm not sure if the slight deep in volume is mainly due to economy or price increase, but our bottom is better obviously. So, no complain this year so far from Atlanta!
