Obama DOL targeting car washes

I've gotten several confirmations that the dept of labor is going to follow Calif's lead and target the car wash industry for "non-complaint" incidents of labor law violations.

Get your act straight...and if you don't know the grey areas they target...get some advice.

I was "reviewed" a few months back for OT violations. We have two carwashes that have different ownership structures, but because they are presented to the public as one company with two locations, I had to go back and pay overtime if someone worked over 40h at both locations. I am not sure how we ended up on the list, but you are right.

Kansas has joined Oboma with a 1 cent raise in Sales Tax which will be added to a car wash's gross sales. Now how do I increase my ss bays by 1% :(
Its just going to come out of my pockets that are already empty.
