Bio Fluid with Vickers Pumps

Does anyone have experience running a bio-fluid (not hydraulic fluid) through Vickers Pumps? The manufacturer doesn’t understand it or recommend it, but my guess is that there are a lot of operators doing it successfully. I would like to move in this direction, but I am a bit nervous with stories of people burning up their pumps. Any help would be appreciated.

Our study of a non oil based fluid (ethylene glycol base) is a 1200 RPM motor is recommended. This will reduce the amount of heat created, which will reduce the amount of water in the fluid.

I've been using non oil hyd fluid(ethylene glycol base) for over 15 years with absolutely no problems. I use Citgo Glycol FR40XD.
