Anybody collect diecast model cars?

So, this biz is really sucking me in. I'm going from a guy who never washed his car(aside from once or twice year drive thru wash) to a guy who is waxing and detailing his own car religiously. I rarely go a week without waxing. Hack, I've waxed my car 4 times in one week. I do realize that that's a serious overkill, but for some reason, I draw peace and joy out of detailing my own car. And I love the way it looks after a good wax job. And I can't stand a bit of "grit" on any part of the car! I wonder what would happen to me and my car if I get out of this biz and do something else.

At any rate, now I have become obsessed with diecast model cars. Especailly the 1:18 scales. As I'm only in my 30's, I'm not too fond of classic cars. I'm more into current fancy cars that I have very slim chance of ever owning like Bently, Alfa Romeo, Maybach, etc. I've been drooling for past couple of weeks, and I have been building up some courage to finally purhcase few. I thought about getting a dozen or so and displaying them on our hallway so all the customer can see as well. This is like my forced justification for self gratification. LOL.

Does anyone also collect diecast models? If so, where can you get the best bargain? Have you tried displaying them at your wash?

I used to collect Harley Davidson stuff; working minatures, miniture gas tanks, radio controlled scale models, books, etc.

Consider taking a page from America Pickers. You will be amazed at what kind of stuff you can find at car and motorcycle swap meets, flea markets and garage sales.
