IDA Announces Educational Program at the Car Care World Expo

INTERNATIONAL DETAILING ASSOCATION Announces Educational Program at the Car Care World Expo.

The IDA has recently announced the session topics for their detail educational seminars at the Car Care World Expo, May 12-14, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The detailing sessions will be held on Wednesday, May 12th and Thursday, May 13th at 8:30 am – 9:30 am and 10:45 am – 11:45 am on both days.

The sessions are:

Additional Services for More Profit – Discussion of those services a detailer can offer to customers to increase per-car-revenue. Included are the simpler add-ons such as paint sealants; water repellants for the windows; headlight restoration; carpet dyeing, as well as the more extensive services such as: paint touchup; interior repair; windshield repair; invisible paint film protection.

Marketing in the 21st Century – Discussion of the traditional methods that are currently working well for detail business owners, as well as new options in marketing including the use of website and social media.

New Detailing Technology- A brief overview of the latest and most popular technologies used in the detail industry with an emphasis on the use of vapor steamers in the detailing process.

Increasing Sales in a Down Economy – Discussion will cover adaptive pricing options; the effective use of specials; cutting operational costs; increasing sales from existing customers; optimizing your website and getting new customers “on-the-cheap.”
