Headlight Restoration

So, we do Headlight Restoration by wet sanding and high speed polishing.

Lately, I've been hearing some folks tell me that you have to put some sort of protective film(usually by spray or foam pad) back to the lense. Is that true? We've been doing this way for a while and I've never had any complaint as far as someone coming back few months down the road and saying that it hazed up again.

Is it true claim that you MUST put some sort of protective coating or is it just a hyped up myth so people can sell more products?

Don't think it is necessary judging by the ones I have done by sanding and buffing.

Do you wax or seal after wetsanding painted surfaces?

New acrylic coating application will keep the lens like new for years.

Some do it right, others just do it!

Be well
