Hi All: Today we received a 2008 HHR, for a complete interior detailing, However the back sit had a red ink stain, that we cannot removed from it at 100%, I used a solvet solution to remove the stain from the leather, but It just came out at a 90% the red color remains.
Customer was told that this kind of stains will not remove at all, therefore our customer was pleased with the job that we did when he saw the results.
I will like to know what kind of products or process you use to remove this kind of stains from Leather. This is the first time that I wasnt able to remove a stain at 100%!!!

just curious, but do you happen to know what caused the ink stain? was it from a ball point pen, makeup, inkjet ink, fountain pen? How long had the stain been there?

Sure, (we always ask what caused the stains to our customers) it was caused because the onwer let some wet red paper on the sit at least all night, during the last weekend

Bleach will certainly remove it, but whether or not it will damage the seat depends on the material.

Renato, we have a gel stick that is formulated to remove ink from leather without damaging the leather. You can see it at www.detailplus.com and Click on Detailing Supplies & Chemicals.
