Bud-....Your name is well known to anyone who knows detailing......I've come to know and love all about it; but lets be honest... Discretionary $$$ are hard to come by unless you live in a community that has plenty to spare! I think your expertise would serve the express detail industry more than not; considering our economics and especially our petrol costs!
Hi Bud I will like to join IDA. Im here in Mexico and car wash bussiness and detailing is growing fast!

Can't Fix:
Thanks for your reply, however I am not clear on what you mean. What does people not having a great deal of discretionary income have to do with joining the International Detailing Association whose operator dues are only $50 a year?
And what does that have to do with my expertise being better served to focus on the express detail industry. In fact, there is no "express detail industry."
There is a detail industry, and I guess you could say, a segment of that is the express detail concept implemented at carwashes. No one else can utilize the express detail concept as well as a car wash for a number of reasons.
Please clarify what you post means?

Bud Abraham
I would venture to say that express detail is part of the detail industry as a whole. Express services have been around for a long time in many forms, such as simple spot buffing and interior spot removal. It may serve better in some applications like a added service in car washes. In today's market it seems every location has multiple variations of packages to serve any customer need that may develop. So with that, as long as those with the experience and are willing to give the value of that experience to those willing to listen, those willing will be the most prepared for whatever tomorrow may hold.
So Bud my vote (he he he like I had a vote)is to not limit yourself to one area but share anything and everything you want. I know I do. Sometimes I share what some might think is obvious, but there is a first for everyone!
