Does anyone know of an alternative to the Ginsan OEM Membrane? I think I may have found one inthe Filmtek XLE-4040.FILMTEC Tap Water Membranes - Extra Low Energy

Model Number:
XLE-4040

Flow Rate:
2600 Gal/Day (9841 L/Day)

Size (Approximate:)
4" Diameter × 40" Length

Test Pressure:
100 PSI (6.9 bar)

Stabilized Salt Rejection: 99.0%

Permeate flow and salt rejection based on the following test conditions: 500 ppm NaCl feed stream, pressure specified above, 77°FF (25°C), and 15% recovery. Permeate flows for individual elements may vary +/-20%.

After a lot of research, I believe that we use the low pressure type of membrane. Ginsan calls it a Cold Water Membrane.

Any thoughts?

I don't know what Ginsan uses, but I have used the XLE membranes before an have been generally happy with them. I paid a little under $300 each for them
