Adding Express Detail to IBA/SS Car Wash

I've been interested in adding express detail to my current business model for awhile. I'm now SS/IBA car wash and full serve detail.

Those of you who know me also know I'm currently building a new detail shop and moving out of a rented location about 350' from the car wash. I'll own the new shop vs. leasing, which is great for me, plus the new shop is 20' off the end of my wash.

I think the timing is right to add express detail to my operation, but I need to establish the order of operations, pricing, and scheduling/timing of these jobs in conjunction with full serve detail. My detail operation gets real busy in the Spring, right through until after New Years.

Any ideas are appreciated.

I added Express Detail to my Express wash and have been successful so far with it, if you can take one person from your full detail crew and designate them to work on the express details thats an easy start. Just see how busy it gets and go from there with staff.

I currently offer the following

Express Wax (Orbital) - 39.95
Carpet Shampoo - 39.95
Leather Treatment (complete) 19.95
Express Detail - (Express wax, carpet shampoo, seat shampoo) $99

I am thinking of adding a Super Express Wax using a quick wax like Aqua wax from PNS I can do a wax in about 3-4 min and would say "add $10 to any wash"

The most important thing to establish when doing EXPRESS detail is that it is MAINTENANCE like getting your oil change... Not reconditioning nor heavy cleaning, no nooks and crannies!
