Looks like that set up would use a ton of chemical.

I think that is the point.

...and what ever you do make sure you do NOT put a tip in the the hydrominder.

I just bought one of these last week, too much chemical or not i'd rather use this then manual scrubbing.

We actually went a step further when I was with Car Wash Express. We lined the top of the tunnel walls with manifolds that alternated on a PLC spraying the HF. Surprisingly it worked very well. It is programed to the number of cars washed and I believe that the chem. cost is a little over/under 9cents a car. Personally I have no problem scrubbing walls myself or telling someone else to do it but, a manager of mine at the time (who was probably sick of being told to) came up with the idea and so far the remaining investors and of coarse the other employees like it a lot.

At $995.00 + freight, Plus chemical it seems you could make one yourself for less. (BTW I got a similar item from Zep years ago and luv it.)

Basicaly all you need is a standard foeaming pumping station with a large diameter hose attached and even a 3/4 garden hose works. (After many years just used this to rplace the orgl from Zep. You can by a faoming App Pumping station from Sonny's for $485.00 This includes a solenoid which you do not need, just a manual air control. I never got Sonny's pricing for this stuff, a single station is $445.00 and a double is $920, $475.00 more which is more than double while a triple is , $1495.00 or an addtl $575.00 more than a double. Why the heck is it cheaper to buy 3 indiviual units???

You can also put together your own for about $325.00 (+ Hose) 3 G Bracket $65.00, Flo Jet Viton $95.00, 2 air regs, $40.00, Hydrominder $90.00, Channel and clamp $10.00, Misc Fittings $25.00

We have the system made by Kleen-Wall. The concept is great, but could use some improvements. As far as $995.... Way too expensive. After talking with the owner of our wash, we figured it would cost about $250 to $300 to make our own. That cute little 5 gallon pale must be worth a hell of a lot of money.
