Dryer tires and wheels...

Just wondering if there is any kind of trick to getting tires and wheels to come out a little dryer... I Have a lot of customers complaining about their wheels being wet... being express I just can't dry all of the wheels.

Also has anyone ever thought about a "Weel Wax" type extra service? Something like rainx or a surface protect./ brightener... it could be applied by a showerhead cta near the rinse arch. I don't know, it might be a stupid idea but I was just thinking about it. Many of my customers have expensive wheels...

I'm not sure if this is what you're referring to, but I think I saw in Vegas that armor all had some type of wheel protection. Not sure if it was a wheel polish or brightner, but it may help with what your looking for. Also, I don't know if it will make the tires and wheels any drier but if you try it let us know how it works.

If you have a sonny's dryer, they have the elephant ear side blowers that do a decent job on getting the water off. its not a hundred percent but it helps.

to paraphrase James Carville, "Uh, its a car wash stupid." Just tell them you'll stop using water to wash their car and see what they say.

Oh, Bill you are so cynical. Tell them to use the 440 dryer. It's no charge and works great. Just go 4 minutes at 4 miles per hour and they wll be bone dry. I am guessing perhaps the complaint is for those who want to put their tire dressing and are having trouble because the tire and wheel are wet? Perhaps an on line applicator will solve the issue and make you $.

I have the elephant ears (protovest) at 2 locations and I agree. I've even used a leather hole punch and zip ties to close some of the bottom openings to get more air in the upper portions. I've never had a complaint about wet wheels.

Go figure...
