Today I had a middle aged man get out of his vehicle right between my set rinse and the first blower to open his tail gate... never seen this before! Crazy stuff...

Michael,

Yes we had a customer get out of the car during the anti-collision cycle, when the wash started up, the omni flooded the inside of the car! The rain arch closed his door the tire shine trapped his foot as he was trying to get in his car. Lucky for us we had signs and he was a preacher.

No, but we have had someone get confused, put their car in park, and turn the engine off in the middle of the tunnel after putting their foot on the brake and jumping the rollers. they did not understand what the bumps were!

We have had the exact same problem before with someone getting out of their vehicle to drop the tail gate.

We also had a guy open up his drivers side door while the car was moving. He destroyed my tunnel sensor, to get his antenna. He was already in the soap arch with his front hood in our mitter. Cost me $100 to fix and 20 minutes.

I also had a woman the other day that got out of the passenger side after being guided onto the conveyor, she complained that the concrete was wet and got her dress and shoes wet, and maybe we shouldnt get it wet... as she walked away she kept mumbling things about us being stupid for getting the ground wet... I guess we just need a sign for everything... if I had a sign warning every stupid thing a customer did at the wash it would be 10ft tall!
