What happens if the attendant doesn't retract on a low van with running boards?
Any scratches on the bodies of black low sports cars?

reply by wash96 over 4 years ago

Your obviously safe with the ninja, but with the poodle there is a chance of damage, you would treat it just like the regular tire brush. we havnt had any problems with scratches that we know of

I wonder how long the ninja is going to last on the driver's side?

What cars do you guys retract the tire/podle brush on? Just sports cars? All sports cars or just particular models?

reply by wash96 over 4 years ago

We let it be a judgement call with the attendant. Usually low profile cars are retracted. Better safe than sorry, we train to retract if we have any doubt.

i haven't used either of these 2 yet. i like the poodle brush design. i was told by a rep that it was designed for use in europe and then brought to the states. i saw the ninja at the same show but on the demo video i never saw a dirty wheel enter the wash

i haven't used either of these two gems yet. if i had to choose i think i'd do the poodle. a rep told me it was designed orginally for the european market then brought to the states. i saw the ninja at the same show but on the demo video i never say a dirty wheel enter the tunnel (imagine that)

I am going to be building a new wash soon and will have the ninja brush so I will have to let everyone know about it. I had hoped I would be able to buy sonny`s equipment but the local distributor/ SSO or whatever one would like to call it has not returned my calls over the past 8+ months so I put that as a no. Atleast ill have a ninja brush regardless.

Fiberton,

Contact Sonny's direct. You will have better luck getting your project going that way. We have been open two months and I did my entire project directly with sonny's no SSO or whatever they call them.

At one time I even had a layout made by Sonny`s for a different location I was thinking about. Before I could purchase that location it was bought. hehe ..I had to start all over. Since then I called and left a message with the SOnny`s rep and the SSO called me. I asked for a bid and was told it would be emailed. Never received it and I called the SSO directly about 5 times and left a message. Hence never recieved a call back. But you know its not a big deal. People are busy and I understand that since I am building a wash in the same city that Sonny`s SSO has quite alot of washes, maybe its just the SSO protecting his area of buisness. Thats ok to me but I am building a wash anyway so guess that did not help him.

On this note I should have likely never said anything becouse really I like Sonny`s equipment. That tirewasher looks fantastic.Heck I am getting a ninja tirebrush :)..I have nothing against the company at all so I would hope noone from the company sends me a nasty note or anything hehe. It is really not their fault really. At anyrate I already talked with Jim Coleman who are happy to sell me whatever I wanted :P. Although im always open to other bids.

By the way speedy your using the Jim coleman entry wizards are your new location right ? What options did you get ?

Always curious in the bayou..

Entry 2.0... internet cc processing (1 second), bill and coin acceptors, optional receipt printing, $5 & $1 dispenser, LCD screen, 4 push button wash selection, Rock Hard machines have already taken a lightening hit with no damage. They run without an office PC network. Push buttons process in 1/2 the time of a touch screen. Receipt printer easy to load and no troubles. It would be handier if it had different locks, larger bill stacker and additional security feature on bill hoppers.

Any new info on NINJA BRUSH? I want cleaner wheels but no damage to running boards.
