Rust Stains on cloth

Just recently took over a wash that has well water and had been closed down for a while. The water was left on and slowly ran all over the cloth for a while. The cloth is in new condition other than the rust stains on it. We have taken some pieces down and power washed it but all it did was clean a little of it off. Does anyone know how to or what to use to remove the stains. Really do not want to replace the cloth that is in still good conditon.

You need to use a solution of Hydrochloride and oxalic acid. Spray it on and let it soak, then pressure wash.

You can also try Naval Jelly, available at any hardware store

If you own a pool, use your pH reducing product (acid). If not, hydrochloric acid (muriatic) will do the trick. Apply a 30% solution of acid (30%acid/70%water) to the dry cloth for best results. Follow up with a FLOOD rinse (no high pressure). Be sure to rinse well or add an alkaline product to neutralize the acid. You can get muriatic/HCl at any hardware store or pool supply store.
