Which wheel brush is best?
I want to change my normal tire brushes to wheel cleaners without replacing the frames. What should I buy? poodle, ninja, bison, wonder wheel, etc etc etc?????

If you have Sonny's, the Bison brush works good. Erie Brush may make a cam brush that works good also.
Have been experimening with different stuff but found the project required some frame or mounting modifications because of the larger diameter of some brushes. Tried both poodle and sine wave from erie as well as a foam unit. So far I think I like the sine wave best.
Is that the same as the Erie Wonder Wheel? (pic below)
what frame changes have you made?
what damages have you created?
What material have you tried on this Erie unit?
We used in two tunnels BISON, but after that - we like much more "old" POODLE brush. It seems like POODLE work better and for longer time.
At the wash I used to work at we used a Bison Brush worked really well but you might want to keep the RPM's low because the bristles come out of the sockets easily. We frequently had to replace the bristles on our Bison's. Or if your brush is Sonny's and has SFB/TGB 18 rocker brushes attached.
Using AVW tire brush with some modifications on guides to prevent vehicle damage, also using AVW wheel blasters - - 'almost' a perfect wheel.
Contact Erie the made me a custom tire brush to fit my Belanger unit. Love it.
Panama Jim - Sorry I did not respond sooner.
The Sine wave seems to be the same as the wheel wonder but Dan at Erie could tell you if there is any difference. I have had to make frame changes to accomodaye the larger diameter and frankly it requires more tweeking than I would have liked.
The Brush itself has not caused any damage. One of the frame modifications was off and the hydraulic motor contacted a certain make and model lower bumper area so this had to be tweaked. Erie materiasl have included both filament and Foam. (On different units, not the same one. )
