I have the Belanger Durashiner and was wondering what product and PSI are you running. also what tire shine piece of equipment works the best?. I have changed the pads changed the chemical changed the PSI settings and still cant get this piece of equipment to work!!!!. I'm starting to think about getting rid of the piece of junk.

What problems are you having? The product you use is the #1 thing to get right. I wasn't satisfied until I switched to Zep Black Pearl.

Don't know why you are selling it. If you found something better, great.

I use the Viper shine unit with their product. Viper is also a distributor for the Belanger unit. While I have no firsthand experience with this unit and their product I have heard stories where people who were unhappy with the performance of the belanger unit were happy once they switched to the Viper product. I know some guys in Chicago are happy with this setup.

The Belanger unit will cost less per application than with the viper unit but the upfront costs are significantly more. I think I would need 25000 applications to hit the break even point and that would take me several years. There is also an open question about unit maintenace costs. Don't know what the Bleanfger unit goes thru in terms of Pads, bearings etc. The viper unit has nominal costs. An occassional solenoid valve or tapeswitch.

I have had the unit for 2 years. My location See's about 60% trucks/SUV and this unit works great there but it's the other 40% cars were it does a fair job. If the vehicle has running boards the unit gets pushed away from the tire. So we now hand apply and its 100% perfect don't get me wrong if I were washing 1500 cars per day the unit would stay.
