Wright Express Card

I run an express wash with 2 self serve pay stations. I am located in a city with huge government influence and thousands of government cars that need to be washed. I have countless requests to accept the wright express card but I am not sure how the easiest way to do it. I would rather the customers not have to come inside.

I have DRB and I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to accept the wright express card on an Xpress Pay Terminal? So far the only solution I have come to is to accept the card inside and through a third party. I was hoping someone had figured out a more efficient way to process the wright express card. Any suggestions or replies would be greatly appreciatted.

Call Drb.

Drb says they can't do it. I talked to some big shots too, not just the guys who do the service calls. They say that are working on it and possibly within the next 6 months they may have something developed. DrB can't help me.

Zane, you need to call Wright Express directly. I have used their cards for 7 years, mostly for fuel purchases. You can get the Wright Express card for fuel only or "everything" else the shop or convenience store offers. Obviously the Wright Express card is accepted almost anywhere there is gas, why not at a car wash. I think you can use the card for service, food, etc. The problem with accepting at a self serve location (gas) or (car wash in the future), you have to put in a drivers number and the odometer reading before you can authorize. The DRB equipment may not be able to connect / or distinguish this information. I would assume when you run the card on the "inside" it is at a "regular" credit card terminal.

Thanks for the advice! I appreciatte it. The problem is i do not have an inside cashier person, just wash attendants. This is why it is hard for the express concept.

You might try to get the wright express customers to pre-pay for their washes.
