Property taxes...let's compare!

3 conveyor locations (property + intangibles-equip)
Average: $8,000 per site per year.

I've talked to other FL operators...$14k, $22k, and one that was $32k!
1/2 of our taxes go to the school board and they are trying to get a 1/2 cent sales tx passed.

My home: 1.5 mills or 1.5%...$3,300/year on $225,000 (assesed at $275k - homestead $50k). I've lived in this home for 34 years (market value $800k+ but they can't raise my assessment more than 3% a year...yeah...but that means, I can't afford to sell). My original mortgage was $100/month...now my taxes are $300/month. I couldn't move anyway...my dog couldn't live without access to the water.

Our 2 FL locations were $22,000 and $25,000 this year.

Our GA locations were $18,000 and $15,000

Our AL location was $9,000

In FL we pay sales tax on our top 2 packages and thankfully as of now we don't have to pay any sales tax in GA or AL. There are talks though of changing this.
