Just think your going to frustrate the customer with this. Most people like to foam up their car and when time runs out keep scrubbing and then put more $ in to finish the wash. A win for the car wash operator a lose for the customer so who really wins if the customer goes somewhere else without a wobbly head.

Exactly out thoughts over three years ago. Would such a tool upset the customer enough to have him leave? Two partners at our beta test site, one who came on the property daily and was frustrated with all the non paying abuse. The other partner (not hands on) was afraid that we would upset the customer and the customer would in fact go somewhere else. Perfectly legitimate concern and so we documented income, did video studies of customer practices and habits. We interviewed customers. We wanted to know if there were "real adverse customer reactions" to the Wobblehead.
In the end, the car wash's customer base and income continues to climb. The foam brush system is operating at "peak performance." The operator insist on safety of the customers finish. Proper lubricity, continous flushing and a soap that foams and cleans has created good will and reputation. Basically, the consumer is more willing than "we" think to get the job done right and to pay for the proper use of the brush. The beta test site is located one block outside the city of Detroit. An area hit hard from the recent recession. This car wash is now one of the top perfoming car washes in 3 counties. Everybody cuts back and wonders where has the business gone, with the Wobblehead and proper mixtures of soap (and no other improvements) this operator is saying "Wow, we are very pleased and business is good."
