boat wash vending

Hi There,

I'm looking for a coin operated wash machine to place at a mariner.

The machine will be used to wash down boats after salt water use and flush the outboard motor.

So I'll need two selections on the machine, one been a high pressure rinse and the other selection running water to flush the outboard engine.

Any help finding one of these machines would be fantastic!

Kind Regards

Chris

In order to flush the outdrie and engine, the user will have to run the engine whie on the trailer. While this is a normal marina action I would be very concerned about the liability.
as for the machine. Easy, all the components are readily available but as a kit, I have never seen one. Burnt Store Marina do the same thing with a single car truck boom on the side of their High and dry building and simply had a faucet avaiable with a hose. Would be easy to time that water supply and charge for it.
Would be a Great Zeabra Muscle Remover :)

The simplest way would be to look for a used system from Jim Coleman Company called the Splash and Dash. This is a cabinetized self serve carwash system. You can then modify one of the functions to serve as an outboard motor flush. It would be a simple setup, any service person should be able to do that. There's one listed on carwash consignment. The asking price for theirs is steep, but I bet in this market they will negotiate considerably. If you are patient I bet you could find one for 2-3K
