bad pressure

Hi

In two of my bays the high pressure isn't near as high as it should be. I thought Ive covered my bases pretty well and trouble shot everything i can think but still no improvement.

Any ideas of what should be on my check list

thanks

What does the pressure gauge read?

Is the pump running smoothly or roughly?

Is there any leaking at the pump head or any pump room component attached to this bay?

about 900 pounds. yeh id say the pump is smooth. there is some pulsating im gonna open up the valves from the water tank tommorow. it has been to busy to really dig into it but the pollen has seemed to slow down therefore so has business.

there is no leaking that i can see.

thanks

Hmm lets see off the top of my head what I would check if pump runs smoothly and no leaks:

Replace the spray nozzle with a new one

Verify unloader is working properly and adjusted correctly

verify there are no leaks in the HP hose that you can't see (attic, etc)

verify drive belt tight and not slipping.

I have had an obstruction inside my wand before that cut pressure, so I guess I would consider swapping it.

verify weep system check valves weren't leaking

After all that, I guess I would start looking at the inner workings of the pumop.

Anything else guys?

Also, I'm assuming you haven't used used the incorrect nozzle size. A number #6 or #7 is pretty standard

thanks alot Greg. im gonna work on your list tommorow. ive tried everything i can think of but there are a few things on ur list that
i have not done.

Just caught the "some pulsating" comment in the post above. That could be a restriction in flow on the inlet side, pump check valve bad or debris in it, and seals worn. This all sounds like a lot but rule out the simple stuff first and you'll find the problem in no time.
