Rapid Fire Electricals :(

Here's the problem. This is occuring in ONE bay only.
If you try to run any one of the functions high pressure and low pressure but of cource it is more apparent in the high pressure functions like high presure soap and rinse and the RO delivery also. The electrical motors running the pumps will rapid fire , a most horrific sound and event inside the pump room.
I am suspicious of the contactor but doese the low pressure functions work thru this contactor also. I guess the contactor could be operating the solinoids on the low pressure functions. The rapid electrical pulsing is so violent that both RO deliver and high pressure 220 motors thru their reset functions.
First thought was rotory switch,,, changed that and no good but now all has failed and no more rapid fire, just no more functions ,,nothing, high or low pressure works. timers works good thow :)
Any suggestion.

Forgot to mention. With all dead and failing the switch for bay cleaning using the high pressure rinse works fine. So there is no motor or pump problem, this is a control problem of some kind ... Thanks

Pretty obvious that the timer output is at fault.

What kind of bay timers do you have? Try switching one from another bay and see if the problem will go with the timer, I'll bet it does like Mep said it's more than likely the timer.

Well looks like the old Dixmor Timer was damaged by my doing some sheet metal repair to the coin drawer :( Thanks guys, you hit it right on, or should I say I hit it right on,,,,,Dont abuse your timers, they are fragile hehe.

Send off that old timer to Dixmor for repair and keep it as a spare. They fix them at a very reasonable cost.

unit is in the mail to Dixmor, Yes they repair them for a fraction of the replacement cost and they are fast to :)

Yes, I've sent back a timer that was so burned up that the plug was melted into the housing, and not only did it cost less than 1/4 of a new timer to repair but it returned looking brand new.
