boom swivel bearing R&R

I have a bad bearing on one of the SS bays boom swivels. I have tried for two days to remove these bearings but they are siezed to the shafts and working on the ladder is difficult. How do you guys get these bearings off the shafts, do I have to remove the shafts and take them to the machins shop :( I am thinking that my angle grinder might make for a fun day :(
