SS Chemical Choices

I am 1.5 years into owning an older 6 bay SS. I have been using JBS "Action"
products in 5 gallon pails (as well as JBS predator vending products). The Action products are ready to use, but quite expensive, especially when shipping costs are added.

I started using "Hot Stuff" concentrates just a month or so ago. They come in 1 gallon and you add 4 gallons to make a 5 gallon pail. So far seem very cost effective.

Anyone else have suggestions for bay chemicals and alternatives for vending products?

The price of Predator stuff keeps going up and my drop shelf vendors cannot go higher than $1. Little profit in the vendors now and trying to get every dollar out I can.

Thanks in advance

Tell me more about the one gallon Hot Stuff, I have to drive 300 miles to get my soap presently :( I get 15 gal pails. Would love to save the travle and cost.
We aquired a 6 bay SS 7 years old last year, we are right at one year and learning the ropes. I feel like a dope on a rope sometimes with this business :)

Hello,

Funny coincidence, I just spoke to the guy from the company 5 minutes ago.

The company is called "hotstuffchemicals.com" it comes in 1 gallon jugs that make 5 gallons of product. I like it very much.

I said about I started iusing it 1 month ago but actually it was a key slip, I have been using it for several months and just made my 2nd or 3rd order.

I have absolutely no connection with the comany except using the product and don't know if it is proper to post their phone number, but if you drop me an email I can put you in touch or just go to the site listed above.

My email is sestrich@aol.com

We use “Vanilla Cream” from Kleen-rite. It comes in 5 gallons pails that you add 10 gallons of water to. We buy it when they have it on sell and have free shipping. The last batch we bought ended up costing us about $47 for a 5 gallon pail. Mixed with water 15 gallons of concentrate costs about $3.15 a gallon before it sucked up by the Hydrominder. We use the Vanilla Cream for both the High Pressure and Foam brush

There are soaps that are concentrated to where a gallon of concentrated soap will make 30 to 50 gallons of soap.
The issue with these very concentrated soaps are; will you use them correctly or over dose them?

When you get the free shipping, Kleen-Rite is a decent mail order option. They are currently run a February newsletter special of free shipping on orders over $500. I think they over buy three get one free a couple of times a year, too. Also check out Arcadian chemical.
