This location was purchased as a vacant "Wendy's" Restaurant, the owners also own an express in Decatur, Alabama.

4 sets of wheel blasters plus an omni 350. Why so many? Is water free in AL?

I think the higher price washes get all the wheel blasters but I am not sure. Maybe Greg can elaborate on water costs in Alabama.

This wash is located In Jefferson County, Alabama. Home of some very expensive sewer. A while back a local environmental group sued the sewer department over excessive untreated discharge during rainstorms. The group one and the sewer dept. was ordered to spend about 600 million in system renovation to prevent this. So, what does the county government do? Well, If 600 million repair is good, then a two billion dollar expansion would be great!

Sewer alone is almost a penny a gallon. I had a small tunnel on that system and water/sewer expense was over a dollar per car. And we just had two sets of spinners.

Pet peeve of mine is first set of wraps and first set of side wheel has water applied almost 180 degrees before the unit contacts the car. Not the most efficient set up.

Not the operators fault or even the MFGR because they often provide mounting on the equip frame and to do it properly you either need to have an independant stand or mount it ot the next piece of equip.

So, it is really an installer shortcoming depending on what the xtra cost is, but I doubt few even advise the operator.
