motor city tire shinner

That's comprable to the tire shiner from sonnys. What the price of the replacement pads? Can it apply a high gloss silicone that is solvent based for a higher gloss?
What are the cost per application?
I saw this machine at the SWCA show this past week. It looks similar to the new Hanna machine. A rotating cloth type tire brush similar to the Tire Blaze concept but not as large. Jet nozzles spray product into the cloth which is then buffed into the tire. The cloth will retain the product which should reduce consumption over the long term.
There are no pads on the unit to replace like the Sonny's Simoniz unit. This is great news for you guys who have been forced to purchase four drums of product in order to get replacement pads. It will also allow you to work with other companies tire dressing products without having to bring in those four drums. At about $750 a pop that is $3,000 in product inventory that you are carrying. There must be a better way to tie up money.
There are now a number of manufacturer's offering on line tire dressing machines. Hanna, Peco, and Motor City are the latest entries in addition to the exsisting Tire Blaze and Simoniz machines. I would expect more manufacturers to follow.

We looked at this today at the ICA show. Is there anyone out there using this machine right now that can give feedback?
Thanks...
