Sonny's Elephant Ear Dryer system
We are looking at this as a future upgrade as early as next spring. Has anyone used them? If so how well do they work at getting the lower panels and below the mirrors dry? Thanks Jeremy

I'm looking at adding these also late this fall - winter. I saw them at the factory a few months back and think that they would be a good addition. I only turn on 3 blowers for my exterior only washes and this might strip the water better on those cars.
Doug let us know how well they work. I am very interested in adding them. Jeremy
The only way that I have seen them dry well is when there were 2 sets. I personally do not think they are worth the extra expense. We added a flip to our side dryers, this allowed us to "dry" mirrors... not perfect but acceptable.

I am planning on putting them in my new location next year. It's a short tunnel, so max drying capacity is needed. I saw them at the factory, and out in the field at a wash in Ft. Lauderdale not too far from the Sonnys factory. These were the prototype units so they did not adjust for angle. They did a pretty good job, and dried down to the wheels.
We have on set of these at a location we just opened this past Saturday. The verdict is still out, but I have been please so far.
Hey Gadsen64,
Congrats on the new wash. How about posting some pictures and details about your new wash. We'd all love to see it.
