So, i'm on my feet all day running around in full service wash.

What kind of shoes do you recommend?

Hiking shoes, running shoes, etc.

Thank you.

I use a short boot in the winter - combination rubber and leather. It has to be water proof. I carry an extra pair of socks in my vehicle and another pair of shoes. I use tennis shoes in the summer. No need for special hiking and running shoes. In fact I carry a change of cloths as well.

spend the money and get a pair of redwing boots model boot number 1425, 239bucks, but have lasted me 2 years and they can resole them for around 70bucks too. just bought another pair sunday while my others are being resoled and oiled. they are an ankle height boot

They last all summer. I'm not saying to purchase the cheapest pair you can find - something decent and preferrably black. You must be mindful however that you should get a steel toe shoe if you can. I crushed my toe two years ago. When I say crushed I mean crushed - the bone was in many pcs.
You never know when you will need to move or pick up something heavy. Boots, tennis shoes - whatever you like to wear. Just be sure it has some degree of quality.

New Balance #966 Water Proof Brown Leather. They do stretch a little. I wear 11 and a half but I buy these size eleven. They last 8 months or more.

I had been wearing waterproof work boots or hiking boots for years, but I have a bad ankle which has been bothering me a lot lately. Just on a whim one day, I bought a pair of Magellan walking shoes (I don't recall the name of the style, but it says "P298" on the tongue tag). I was at the wash for an hour after or so after I bought them wearing a $120 pair of Timberland hiking boots with a $20 set of padded insoles inside, my ankle was throbbing so I put the new shoes on, and within five minutes it quit hurting. I've been wearing them about four months and they still look good despite getting rinsed off with high pressure every day. The only downside is that they're not even the least bit water resistant - if I walk though 1/2" of standing water my socks are very wet. I keep the Timberlands with me along with a pair of dry socks and have needed to change into them a couple times, or I'll put on the boots first if I know I'll be in water.

I had same problem...get a pair of Asolo GTX hiking boots. Comfortable and waterproof. Not cheap but worth every penny

I found the half high walking shoe with the no skid sole that they offer to quick lubes works best for me. The no skid works well with soap and water and keeps my feet dry and warm.
