On Site Radio Marketing
Has anyone heard of On-Site Radio Marketing. This has been a very successful tool for upselling and communicating with our clients. We now have a 24/7 radio broadcast (101.7 fm - Spa Radio) that is also an excellent cross marketing tool.

I use it at my 2-bay auto. I have a banner that points toward the McDonald's drive thru telling them to tune it. Capturing just a fraction of their drive thru traffic would be great. Just started a few months ago, time will tell.
Can you two send me the a little info offline on what technology you used to set this up?

thanks.

A large car wash chain in Houston is using this, but I'm not sure what kind of results they have had.
Has this method proven to increase washes, vending, other services?
What is the average cost to set up, and maintain?
I think I'll try one in my exterior tunnel for marketing and safety information.
Think it's a great marketing idea that's been around for decades, with gradually improving technology.
One caution: While safe for car's with fixed antennas, most cars with power antennas automatically engage when the radio or cd is turned on. We've heard of several instances years ago where damages occurred to affected antennas when the vehicle entered the top brush or mitter area, causing damage claims.
OOps...there goes my great idea...maybe ten years from now it would work.
