When you install a new bronze fitted solenoid replace the 4 bonnet bolts with stainless steel bolts. Also put never seize between the solenoid coil and the bonnet shaft. Rotate the solenoid coil so that you can get access to all 4 bolts easily. The coils like to freeze up on the shaft and the galvy bolts rot away. Makes it real hard to replace a diaphragm or clean out the valve body.
