collecting money
Looking for some forms for when I collect money at the car wash I work at. Boss wants everything documented now. counts and total quarter counts, car counts and wash totals, etc. Anyone have some simple, quick forms that would work? Thanks

I just use Excel. I bought a netbook for $250 that I keep at the wash, enter everything and email it to myself when I'm done.
Is this a tunnel, Self Serve or what? Do you have auto cashiers? Tunnel Controller? Vacs? Vending? Changer?
I have a seperate Sheet for the Tunnel operation and Changers.
Yes Excel, you can buy just that program at any office supply store, or if already Downloaded and you need a real Serial number, they sell verifiable numbers at those stores as well.
We've been using Google docs for about four or five years now. They have an online spreadsheet so you can check from anywhere with internet access. We don't use Excel anymore because with Google docs, everything can be a collaborative document. It's super easy, and it's all for the unbelievable low price of FREE! Even Microsoft is moving to cloud computing for the docs.
If you have a gmail account, then you already have access to Google docs. If not, just go to gmail.com and sign up.
Every one of our employees has a gmail account. I put our schedule on line, and although my employees can see the schedule, I'm the only one with access to modify it. We keep track of everything from chemicals, money, repairs, etc. on google docs. It's made our business much more efficient, and we use a lot less paper.
